Providing eyeglasses to Yupparaj School students project

Why did Muller initiate this project?

   Muller Optik initiated this project because they observed the issue of vision problems in children, which can have long-term consequences as they grow older. Addressing vision problems in children early on can help delay increases in refractive errors that may become a hindrance to learning or even daily activities. Symptoms like squinting, rubbing eyes, or difficulty focusing can affect a child's concentration in school. Therefore, a clear vision in childhood is crucial.

    Many people may have never had their eyes checked before, only to discover various vision problems such as severe myopia, astigmatism, strabismus, or others. This confirms that vision problems in children are prevalent. If parents do not take their children for eye check-ups, it may be too late to correct these problems. If children cannot see the board clearly, they may lose interest in learning, affecting their academic performance.

 

 

 

Muller Optik sees the well-being of children and the concerns of parents as a priority. 

  The project has been running for two years now, receiving overwhelming responses from students, parents, and Yupparaj School. Muller Optik, with the support of Yupparaj  School's guidance department, selects students with vision problems and low-income families to provide quality eyeglasses worth 2700 baht for free, eliminating the financial burden.

     The aim is to allow students to address and manage their vision problems early, improving their concentration in learning, enhancing their self-esteem, and eliminating the need to squint or strain their eyes to see clearly. For parents, it helps save and reduce the cost of purchasing glasses for their children, which can be quite high for low-income families. Muller Optik established this project to help address these issues.
 

      Mr. Krittawit, a senior optician at Muller Optik and a former Yupparaj student is delighted and dedicated to providing high-quality eyeglasses that meet standard requirements to students. Over 40 individuals have benefited from this initiative.
